I contacted vinebrooks about this issue and explained that it was trying to double charge me, but they still want $45. I don't feel this is right when rent was paid in full. The system made it seem like I wanted to pay twice. I even double checked to make sure it showed my auto pay date updated before the 1st. This is not the first time I have had issues with this company.

I was triple charged for a water bill in yhe amount of 900 dollars. Aftet 7 months of calling and emailing, I finally spoke to rep named Ashley, she informed me of the overcharge. Also during that call she Said they had an employee that was stealing utilities payments and throwing the bills away. I again, asked for hard copies of my utility bills so I could check the usage and amount being charged. I STILL have not been sent these bills. I moved out and the final statement is full of lies.

I have been calling maintenance for about two months to come and remove a possum in my attic, that is trying to come out of a hole in my outside roofing. The hole was patched up by Vinebrook Homes before but now the possum is trying to come out that hole. I constantly put in maintenance requests but nobody comes or even reach out to me. I also have a tree leaning towards the side of the house from an ice storm we had back in February.

VineBrook charged me an additional $896 dollars that I've already paid in the month of March. They bought the property from the previous management company and when the account was transferred over to VineBrook the said the have no record of the payment. I am attaching a copy of the receipt. It is so sad that a tree fell on my house in July of 2022 and there is mold growing inside my house. For one, it took 3 weeks to get a tree off my house the tree fell where my kids sleep. So when they finally got the tree off, it left 3 massive holes in my roof.
I do not understand why they are even still in business. They are some slum lords and they playing with everybody lies shelter. I have been staying at my address for almost 4 years and never had a problem and was able to renew my lease but since I complain so much, I’m unable to renew my lease.
Most diverse employee base I’ve ever seen too. Working hard at improving the rental experience at an affordable price for the working folks. I have been putting in request to have my heating system fixed by this company. My pilot is not working, i dont have any hot water and my heat will not come on.
